http://teacupteachermom.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 21, 2010. It has been over a month since I last blogged! And a crazy month at that. We started back to school. Tboy is in kindergarten this year and had a rather difficult transition. You see, he was coming to the same school as Mama and Sister and so thought that (of course! My dear sister-in-law gave birth to my kids' first cousin on my side of the family. It was a tough, long labor but my sweet little nephew is finally here! These have been a few of the highlights of this last month.

Strong, Not Tough: November 2011
http://thehalversons.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Strong, Not Tough. The most recent roller coaster. The most recent roller coaster. The girls have been sick for almost a month: a nasty head cold that turned into ear infections for both of them. Dave caught the same cold a couple of weeks ago, then ended up with kidney stones over the weekend. That icky cold has attacked me and brought ear and sinus infections. I also got an itchy full-body rash a few weeks ago and can't find anything to relieve it. The ultrasound was beautiful. We're having a boy!

Strong, Not Tough. Glass Tables, Screen Doors and Thunder. Glass Tables, Screen Doors and Thunder. So, this week. It's a miracle she didn't break both legs. Later, my oldest and I jammed our toes together in a mother-daughter clutz moment, and my toe nail slid under the skin of one of her little toes deep enough to create a big wound. :-( She was okay until she got in the pool at swim lessons and yelped from all the chlorine in her owie. I, too, have my faults. Me, to my husband (early this moring):.

Teacup Teacher Mom: March 2010
http://teacupteachermom.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Last night we sat around the table having a normal dinner. With normal school day conversation. How was your day? What did you play at recess? What did you do at circle time? You know, normal. Near the end of dinner TDaddy pulls out a little voice recorder. He uses it for work to record meetings, etc. that he will need details of later. He had caught almost the entire dinner conversation on tape. I felt a bit teary. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Strong, Not Tough: June 2012
http://thehalversons.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Strong, Not Tough. I've been thinking a lot lately (dangerous, I know) about the part I play in shaping and molding the character and personality of each of my kids: specifically what they are learning by means of observation. Here's a glimpse of the lists:. I hope my children do not. Sneak/ act deceitfully (essentially: lie), or put themselves in a situation where they might have to. Try to make other people feel bad/ dumb so they can feel better about themselves. Display competitiveness to the extent i...
