Thursday, August 9, 2012. The Family that Plays Together. My family plays pretty hard. It feels like we're doing "stuff" all the time. Parks, museums, concerts, libraries, gardens, zoos, pools, puppet shows, you name it, we're there. In fact, when I'm talking to my Mom on the phone, our conversation often goes something like this:. Mom: So, what're you up to today? Mom: You sure work a lot harder to entertain your kids than I ever did. Indoor games with Daddy (On rainy Saturdays). And Beauty Parlour- thi...

The Stuff Life Is Made Of. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Hawaii is Heaven on Earth. I cannot say it too much or too often - Hawaii is amazing. It is beautiful, full of fun things to do, and so relaxing you just can't believe it unless you experience it yourself. Now I understand why our good friends the Arredondos. The Stuff Life Is Made Of. Thursday, August 18, 2011. Grandma always made you feel she had been waiting to see just you. And now the day was complete.". She looked so weak and tired as she lay there in the hospital bed, but she was as beautiful as ever, and seeing her, embracing her, was wonderful to me. As the days went on, and she transitioned from hospital to home, I had the privilege of helping to care for her during the beginning of what will probably be a long recovery. This is perhaps my favorite ...

The Stuff Life Is Made Of. Monday, March 1, 2010. Last Thursday, I had the wonderful opportunity to fly to Florida to visit my good friend Katie - we had been eagerly waiting for months for the time to arrive when we would be going together to see "Wicked." Oh my goodness, I know I can't find words cool enough to describe how wonderful it was, but I'll do my best. We posed for some photos together after - do we look like we're freezing? Friday, Katie and I went to Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM...

The doctors assistant was really nice, told me start taking probiotics right away and asked if the over the counter pain meds were enough. Since I don't usually have much pain. Which is why I'm such a baby about it right now). I really have no cause to take them ever. I had to go buy some just for the occasion because I didn't even have any at home). So they are working fantastic!

The Every-day Life and Adventures of an American Bombshell: Retrospect; My 30th Birthday
http://chartidwell.blogspot.com/2013/02/retrospect-my-30th-birthday.html
Friday, February 1, 2013. Retrospect; My 30th Birthday. I spent five hours on a bus covered in vomit. Life is glamourous, no? Pete and I decided to go to visit my sister's family in Boston for Thanksgiving and we left on my birthday. (We still lived in NYC at the time, remember? Georgia felt much better and spent the rest of the journey snoozing peacefully on her daddy's lap wearing nothing but her raincoat and a diaper. I pulled my coat on over the smelly mess on my chest and cracked open the window.
