Allie and Jon: Utah 2010
http://allieandjon.blogspot.com/2010/07/utah-2010.html
Welcome to our lives. Thursday, July 01, 2010. Jon and I just got back from over a week spent out west in Utah. We had an amazing time and saw tons of cool things. We went with my Aunt Julie, Uncle Kermit, their two kids, and our friend Sam. To see all the photos from the trip, see the Facebook album. The first leg of our trip was spent camping at Arches National Park. Near Moab, UT. Arches is very dry, and very hot! Luckily the ground was soft sand, and I came-to right away! Day three was spent visiting...

The Desert Diaries: Hiking Arches National Park, The Fiery Furnace
http://thedesertdiaries.blogspot.com/2010/03/hiking-arches-national-park-fiery.html
A collection of randomness from those that live, raft, climb, bike, hike and work in Moab, Utah. Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Hiking Arches National Park, The Fiery Furnace. Here's some good news. The NPS has begun offering online reservations for the Fiery Furnace hike. One of the best ranger led activities I have ever done. No one better to see this magnificent area with than a NPS ranger. The ranger I went with was studying the Fiery Furnace for a PHD. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Patagonia sells a T-shirt with the words "live simply" and pictures of seals and whales and such emblazoned on them for $30. Does this strike anyone else besides me as ridiculous? Living simply would not, by any measure, include buying $30 T-shirts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We are the guides, friends and family of Red River Adventures. View my complete profile.

The Desert Diaries: January 2009
http://thedesertdiaries.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
A collection of randomness from those that live, raft, climb, bike, hike and work in Moab, Utah. Monday, January 12, 2009. It's early but this is great for Moab rafting. I just got the Colorado River basin Forecast report for January. The mountains up stream of Moab are at 125% of normal snowpack. This is fantastic. I know that we've got plenty of time for it to stop snowing or for it to get warm and for the snowpack to go away but for now it's more snow on Jnauary 1st. than any time since 1997.
