Pembina Flood '13: March 2013
http://redriverpembina13.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
After a year off I'm back again. Thursday, March 21, 2013. Welcome to my blog. I hoped not to have one this year but with all this snow I decided to start one. Yesterday was the first day of spring. I took a drive around town today and took a few pictures for those of you who don't live around here. The National Weather Service revised it's spring flood forecast today. You can see it here. http:/ www.crh.noaa.gov/fgf/scripts/localdata.php? This picture was taken at the north end of 5th Street facing west.

http://redriverpembina13.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
After a year off I'm back again. Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Http:/ www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/264116/. Sunday, May 5, 2013. The NWS is now predicting a crest of 47.5 ft next Saturday. There won't be much more to write. Saturday, May 4, 2013. The Red is at 45.06 ft. The seven day outlook has dropped again to 48.5 ft. I know more people would like to volunteer if they knew help was needed so I'll try to spread the word here if I hear of any work being done. From the #2 tee box looking south.

Pembina Flood '13: Waiting....
http://redriverpembina13.blogspot.com/2013/04/waiting.html
After a year off I'm back again. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. There was a meeting of the flood committee this afternoon. About 30 people attended. Kyle Dorion and Ron Monette are the committee chairmen. I guess at this point it's a waiting game. The committee will meet again on Friday. Today's picture is of the motocross track on the north side of the Pembina dike. Pembina Flood '11: May 25
http://redriverpembina11.blogspot.com/2011/05/may-25.html
Trying to keep you updated on what's going on in Pembina and the surrounding area. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. I stopped on my way to Neche yesterday to take this picture. I'm on highway 55 looking west. Still a lot of water out that way. May 26, 2011 at 11:27 PM. Have been wondering how things are going. Looks like its taking the water a long time to get back to normal. Have you had any of the bad storms up your way? None here, but still waiting for spring. Cathy H. Pembina Flood '11: Greetings From Pembina
http://redriverpembina11.blogspot.com/2012/09/greetings-from-pembina.html
Trying to keep you updated on what's going on in Pembina and the surrounding area. Sunday, September 9, 2012. No flood post this time (thankfully). I just wanted to direct people to the new North Border Schools website. The new address is: www.northborder.k12.nd.us. We've had a beautiful summer here with hardly a mosquito in sight. The weather is just beginning to turn cooler and if we have another winter as mild as last year it could be a long time before I'll have to post another flood blog entry.

Pembina Flood '13: Friday
http://redriverpembina13.blogspot.com/2013/05/friday.html
After a year off I'm back again. Friday, May 3, 2013. The outlook is brighter. The Red is at 44.7 ft tonight and the seven day outlook was lowered to 49.1 ft. The flood committee met today and decided no action needed to be taken right now. They will meet again on Monday at 4:45. There has been overland flooding in some rural areas. The water seems to be taking different routes this year and shows up in unusual places. The Pembina River at Neche is still dropping. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
