Day two after hiking to the top of the Organ Needle sure feels good :) We had a great time, and Michael has made history being the first of this generation of Giles to make it to the top (along with his cousins Megan and Brooke! I decided to take some intial benchmarks this morning for the biggest gainer. Our public journal…. Starting Week 2 :). Starting Week 2 :). March 9th, 2010. Ok – I ran my first run for this week (after biking to / from work yesterday) and ended up running about 3.2 miles in 27 minutes (8.5 minutes / mile). Guess I need to sign up for a 5k event in the near future to get me motivated to keep on running and push myself – anyone know of one here in Albuquerque in the next few months? A peek into my life ;) And other random thoughts. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Climbing even closer to home! Last week we discovered that there are sport climbs on Lone Mountain, which is literally two minutes from our house! The best part is that a few of the climbs aren't too difficult, so we can actually lead it. Sweetness, I know :). We took my niece with us to try out the new spot for the first time and had a blast! Bits and Bytes from my life. Sunday, January 4, 2009. We had Megan's good friend Patricia come visit us from Texas during the holiday break. We had a blast visiting the beach in San Diego, Wild Animal Park in Escondido, and then I took the girls up to Palomar Mountain State Park to play in the snow.
