Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Grandma Woll got the dress-up stuff out. 3 photo bombs in one picture. Thought this pole was funny all covered in nails. The apartments we lived in when Adam was born. Every time we drive by this statue place, it reminds us of Medusa's place in the Percy Jackson books. I miss palm trees. We celebrated Adam's and Ashley's birthdays while we were down. Had to stop at Baker's! Same age cousins.Toby, Cody, Amber and Emma. Have to have donuts while we are in CA.the best ever!

This is the main reason all the grandparents came for his birthday and for Thanksgiving, so they could be here for (as the girls say) Adam's "coronation" day. So so proud of this kid! I could not be more excited! My time in nyc has been amazing.everything I hoped it would be. I got an incomparable education at Columbia, lived in an amazing apartment in the heart of Midtown, made wonderful friends, and worked my bootie off for clients in Brooklyn. What more could a person ask for?

Thursday, 12 November 2015. Nada, Suzie and Bob Wood, Elder and Sister Simmons eating fruit infused ice cream. They loved it! Next stop the Gannett Colony at Muriwai Beach. It was very windy and a little cool but so beautiful. A Gannett in flight. One of the reasons they nest here is because of the wind current when they are teaching their new baby birds to fly. There are thousands of them now. The information said it began with 50 pairs. You can see the Gannett birds on the tops of the two main ledges.
