When The Reel World first started we decided that the star rating system had been done to death. We needed something new and fresh to rate our movies and such. So we invented the DING. The DING is a happy-type noise that means something good has happened. Kinda like a light bulb going off in your head. Everybody loved the DING and a ratings system was born. 5 DINGS = One of the greatest of all time. (Very Rare). 4 DINGS = A good movie, one you can watch again and again. (Common).
