Interesting Feedback | Jim's Reflections
https://reflectingjim.wordpress.com/2008/10/16/interesting-feedback
On teaching, learning and the PGC. Laquo; Just an Idea…. The BFA1 students and I are getting to know each other quite well now. The students are more relaxed and chatty in class, and less prone to reverential silence, which is a relief! They are also becoming more chatty and friendly outside of class too. It seems they more comfortable with me and my style of teaching now, and the traditional (chinese) divide between teacher and student is narrowing. On teaching, learning and the PGC. Archive for April, 2008. PG Cert Module 3 so far. April 10, 2008. I found module 2 really interesting as it was about teaching in the most basic sense – being in a room with learners and facilitating that learning. The reading was interesting and I could see the results of practical application both in my own teaching and through the micro teaching project. Posted in General Reflections. Last Term’s Modules. April 9, 2008. There were other changes to the way I delivered...

Reflective Journal PGCHE O7 -08. Tuesday, 11 November 2008. This is one of the maps created in today's class by one of the 1st year groups. Today was the fourth (and final) 'day 1' session and it seemed to me to be (like this map) the best yet. The map drawing is part of the brainstorming session.the journey from page (costume design) to stage. This one probably needs a key to be fully understood but even without the explanations presented by the group who created it the 'directions ' are obvious.

Our Job as Micro Leaders. June 19, 2014. The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has been in existence in Ghana since 1993. As part of its mission, the commission works to promote democracy and educate citizens about their rights and obligations. It is somewhat encouraging to know that such a commission exists in Ghana. However, considering the current state of affairs in the country, it is fair to say that the NCCE has failed to carry out its mission effectively. Since there has not been a fo...
