August 12, 2012. I really do hate tomatoes–unless they are good tomatoes. Like vine ripened, bright red specimens that smell of dirt and sunshine. None of those sad, opaque, grainy things for me, please. Lucky for me, it’s tomato season around here! Several people have given me tomatoes fresh from their garden.
