A Memorial for Shiloh, A Golden Hospice Volunteer. S hiloh working on his tan. Almost time for a nap. Shiloh had an extensive career as a therapy dog with more than 1300 hospice visits as well as visits to hospitals, assisted living centers, and rehab centers. He brought joy to more than 6000 patients and is undoubtedly the record holder in site and patient visits. Since Shiloh primarily visited hospices, he was considered a hospet which is the term used for such four legged volunteers.

Sunday, August 2, 2015. It's the little things. The energy generated by spontaneous and loud "Let's Go Mets" chants also makes me feel nostalgic from the good old days at Shea.
