Remembering Shronk - Kim Shronk's Letter
http://www.rememberingshronk.com/kim_shronk.html
An Open Letter of Thanks to the Poker Community (from Kim Shronk). There are two lasting bequests we can give our children, one is roots, the other is wings. Owen said it best. It's a world for the kinds of creative people who spent their teenage years feeling out of place and it's a haven. It's a welcoming environment in which individualism is encouraged and friendships are forged in hotel rooms and casino bars the world over. It's a place where people like Shronk thrive.

You hear it a bit at Citi Field, but nothing with the energy that I felt last night. It felt good to hear and take part in. And there was a little scoreboard thing that I always liked at Shea which seemed to have been abandoned at Citi Field. They would take the scene from the movie " Network. Do you feel it too? Remembering Silver Beach Amusement Park, St. Joseph, Michigan
Take a Stroll on the Boardwalk. Goldblatt’s, or maybe Shopper’s Fair. Bummer. Down that road, past the side of the sprawling wooden coaster, the crunch of sand under our tires, and we were there!
