Thursday, September 8, 2011. Little Hands Art #7 - Bouquet of flowers greeting card. I really like the cut and glue projects for little kids. And when you have a 2 kids, one older than the other, they make for perfect teamwork projects. Here is one such "teamwork" project. A "Bouquet of flowers" greeting card that the kids made by helping each other. Reya drew and cut the yellow flowers and Rithik glued them on to the construction paper that was folded to make the greeting card. Shilpa @The Crafts Corner.

What's cooking Wednesday - Maple walnut biscotti. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 cup white sugar. 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1 cup chopped walnuts. 15 tablespoon maple extract. This recipe yields 3-4 dozen biscottis). 1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Thursday, December 2, 2010. Preparing for Santa Claus. This is our Christmas from 2 years ago. It all started with a tree. This tree below that Reya made in her school. A simple paper Christmas tree that she colored and decorated with glitter. And that got me thinking. I helped Reya make paper Christmas stockings to hang. again a simple cutout from construction paper decorated with scrap paper bits and ice cream sticks. and we hung them on the fire place. Let's see what I can do for this Christmas!

If you do like them too then you are in for a good deal. I happened to be surfing the LocknLock website today and I saw that several of my very favorite zen ceramic containers. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. What's cooking Wednesday - Sooji (Semolina) Halwa. Last week, I got my new Ceramic Cookplus cookware. From Lock and Lock and I was intrigued. I loved the color and it is very different from my existing heavy copper bottomed cookware. As I couldnt wait to try it out, I made Sooji Halwa in it immediately.
