My Latest Obession: Newest Quilts
http://yvonnesobsession.blogspot.com/2014/08/newest-quilts.html
This blog chronicles my various hobbies. Saturday, August 30, 2014. I have, I have, I have been sewing. Just not posting! Here are a few of my latest quilts. Forgive me, this is a long post. This is a quilt I made for my sister-in-law. She loves all things "peacock". I found the peacock panel in the center last year and decided that I would make her a throw. I had a pieced top. All that was left was the quilting and sewing on the binding. There are a lot of conflicting theories regarding it's use. I...

My Latest Obession: February 2014
http://yvonnesobsession.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
This blog chronicles my various hobbies. Tuesday, February 25, 2014. I had been looking for someone to help me with a quilt rack I fell in love with. After searching I found the pattern on a woodworking site. I am handy with tools but unfortunately I didn't have the needed saws, etc. This is the rack I fell in love with. Anyway, here is the quilt rack Terry made for me. He did a wonderful job. It still needs to be stained and hung, but it looks great. Monday, February 17, 2014. We met Loralie Harris.

FiberArt Northeast: July 2010
http://fiberartnortheast.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 4, 2010. An Arty Play Day. Back in May, our group sponsored an Arty Play Day for interested and available members. It was held in a local high school's chemistry lab, which was perfect - running water and indestructible surfaces. We had plenty of room to spread out and everyone worked on their own project/process for the day. It was fantastic and we all got a lot done while having a great time. Joyce prepared to wet-felt some fibers together. Barbara tried her hand at shaving cream marbling.

FiberArt Northeast: Architectural Elements at Etui
http://fiberartnortheast.blogspot.com/2014/04/architectural-elements-at-etui.html
Monday, April 14, 2014. Architectural Elements at Etui. It would carry some fabrics, yarns and other fiber related items and would have a small gallery in front. It sounded perfect. And it was! We decided on the theme of Architectural Elements and the size was restricted to 14" wide by no more than 20" high. There would also be some pedestals and some members opted to make freestanding pieces that would fit into narrow wooden stands. Here are the quilts, in no particular order:. Rapunzel by Sonia Rieber.
