Welcome to my Blog! Saturday, November 12, 2011. This is the first independent piece I did. It was super similar to the last incaustic piece and I consider it more of a continuation of the last thing I did (the tryptic). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My theme is a passion for photography. An incorporation of nature and peacefulness in my photos and other artwork. View my complete profile. Rock Hill High School. Artists who inspire me. Picture Window template. I really like the bright, vibrant colors you used in this and how it goes along perfectly with the feel of the butterflies. I also love how you used real leaves in it. It gives it an earthy feel. Welcome to my Blog!: The Light
http://rhhsartarib.blogspot.com/2011/10/light.html
Welcome to my Blog! Sunday, October 9, 2011. I had major problems with this project including the fact that it got broken and I had to re-do it. I like the implied texture in the rocks and in the sky but I didn't like how the final project turned out. Something about it looked too simple but only in certain parts- I felt like it was unbalanced. October 13, 2011 at 7:46 PM. Also the texture in earth is amazing, so simple and elegant.
