This class is going to be a series of experaments for me because I'm not sure what I'm good at yet and what I like to do the most. Friday, May 3, 2013. I really like how this one will turn out if I ever get the chance to finish it. I love how the colors go together. I think my biggest problem with this project was the tape kept peeling the paint off so I had to keep redoing the paint. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Awesome Inc. theme. As you can see, it wasn't done. It looks cool and I wish I was able to finish it. I like it, but didn't have time to finish it. But it looks great regardless. May 9, 2013 at 8:49 AM. http://rhhsartemilyb.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
This semester I hope to explore different mediums and materials through creativity in my art. Thursday, February 21, 2013. Nostalgia" is a piece of art created to illustrate the remembrance of Summer. I used clocks to symbolize that the season feels timeless. The image transfers make the theme of summer a little more obvious. The word "Aloha" means welcome and farewell. The other images represent the season giving it a tropical feel. This semester I hope to explore different mediums and materials through creativity in my art. Thursday, March 21, 2013. Lick and Lather" by Janine Antoni is by far the most unique piece of artwork I've ever seen. The sculpture on the left is "Lick." It is made of chocolate. The sculpture on the right is "Lather" and it's made of soap. I've never heard of an artist using these mediums to sculpt with. Thursday, March 14, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Into the dark and whimsical. View my complete profile. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. I've been doing a lot of collages this summer and also dabbling in watercolors. This is my favorite that I have done so far. Saturday, May 22, 2010. I enjoyed working with others and think that we did a good job. Monday, April 26, 2010. With this precision-ism piece we had to go for the more industrial rather then the natural, which I usually don't gravitate to, however the simplicity of a bike wheel enticed me. All a little s...

Wednesday, May 1, 2013. This project was so fun, but oil pastels are so hard to work with, idk if I ever want to work with them againg because they smudge so easily. I like the shadow because it looks like a reall shadow! This is my absolute favorite because of the claw marks comming from the hands. It adds to the piece, rather than just a hand print. Monday, March 18, 2013. This project was my favorite. I loved the procces of making the plastic image. I really like how it turned out.

My focus in art this semester is to try new things and focus on new mediums. View my complete profile. Friday, May 22, 2009. This is my polytych that I created. Again I had no idea what to do. I love softball so I made a softball piece. The sillhouette looks good with the stats n the background. The softball turned out good with the bible verse behind it representing wind. The glove was hard but the pocket of the glove is more stats that are colored to look more like a glove. Wednesday, May 20, 2009.

Friday, May 21, 2010. The medium for this art piece is acrylic on plywood. I like the clean, cut, and minimalistic view on this one. The colors remind me of a summer polo. This is an Asian inspired piece I did that mimics the work of Frank Stella's work. This is a semi 3-D piece I made at the end of the semester. It's one of my quality pieces for my AP Art portfolio.
