2008 Reflections Summer Cruise. Saturday, August 9, 2008. August 6 - 9, Parks Bay, Shaw and Hunter Bay, Lopez. Austin arrived at just before 5:30pm and we headed out to Parks Bay, Shaw Island to join Mirage and Crescendo. The evening was lovely with a beautiful sunset, and Austin enjoying going from boat to boat in the raft. We came in on fumes, but we made it. Magic Moments - Adventures of Glen and Liz. Thursday, August 8, 2013. July 6 - Swanson Harbor. We docked in Swanson Harbor at a dock that is just anchored in the bay. Swanson is about 10 miles east of Glacier Bay. Glen took Debbie and Robert for a long dinghy ride to Hoonah to see if they would have the zip line open. Nope only open on days when the cruise ships come to town. So no need to go to Hoonah this year. Katie, the Jung's daughter picked a bunch of 'Beach Asparagus'. Miners Alaska Trip Blog.

Arrived in Friday Harbor on the 4th and got a side tie on the outside of the outer breakwater, the only available spot, a bit exposed to boat waves but a Perfect spot for viewing the fireworks in the bay. Magic Moments - Adventures of Glen and Liz. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Day 108 – August 26. It was a foggy cool morning with the tide out. The water is much calmer than last night. The guys, Gary, Glen, and Webster went out to check the crab pots … the crabs won yet another round. It’s somewhat nice to see that the Miner’s and Dodge’s are not the only ones lousy at this fishing stuff. We can now officially add the Cummings to our fish/crabless club. Glen and I stayed aboard Magic for a lazy morning.

It was partly sunny when I woke up this morning, but by the time Glen got up it was raining; not hard but raining none the less. We pulled anchor and headed out.
