Sonnet XXVII: Megan: Explorer, Navigator, Scientist.
http://anmeizhen.blogspot.com/2008/05/megan-explorer-navigator-scientist.html
Thursday, May 15, 2008. Megan: Explorer, Navigator, Scientist. I have returned to my blog after a few days of exhausting travel. and I'll do my best to let you know what is going on in my whirlwind trip. It took me a 10 hour train ride to get caught up on my paper journal so if you think I'm being detailed here you should see that tour de force (I've used up half of it in only 8 or 9 days.). The evening was spent socializing a bit more before I collapsed in bed. That night I was exhausted and I countered...

Sonnet XXVII: National Treasure(s)
http://anmeizhen.blogspot.com/2008/05/as-much-as-jonathan-may-protest-i-think.html
Monday, May 26, 2008. As much as Jonathan may protest, I think another long post is coming up. Connie and Ken are at a golf tournament so I don't feel like a rude guest sitting on the computer when they're away. More about Hong Kong! The coolness of being there well outweighs the fact that you have to stand in an inch of water on slippery marble. It's just. so cool! 2nd: Star Ferry tour at night! Nicholas jumped at the chance to talk about Postman Pat, the Adventures of t Bag (yes, it's real! I arrived h...

Sonnet XXVII: Life in the Olympic co-host city (who knew?)
http://anmeizhen.blogspot.com/2008/05/life-in-olympic-co-host-city-who-knew.html
Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Life in the Olympic co-host city (who knew? So I don't really know how to even begin to describe Hong Kong when I only have 10 minutes to do so. I think radom tidbits of awesome things will have to suffice until I get to Taipei and may update as I'd like. I know it's wet. Does that help? Nu uh Not an option. I must use my exporation powers and determination to find my way to what I remember as the mushroom tower, and by God I did. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my compl...

Sonnet XXVII: In Communist China the Libraries Check out YOU!
http://anmeizhen.blogspot.com/2008/05/in-communist-china-libraries-check-out.html
Monday, May 12, 2008. In Communist China the Libraries Check out YOU! I am so sorry I have neglected the blog but it's a good thing that I've been so busy and happy that I've been unable to! So I'm going to give highlights of my days going backwards because I'm not going to remember any other. And they were very impressed by the fragments of Chinese I shouted at passersby. I'm going to outline my trip to the library as if it were a challenge on Amazing Race cause that's what it felt like. This was my las...

Sonnet XXVII: Free from the Communist Grasp
http://anmeizhen.blogspot.com/2008/05/free-from-communist-grasp.html
Sunday, May 25, 2008. Free from the Communist Grasp. Now that I am in Taiwan I can officially say that I am no longer in a Communist country. Though I pretty much felt that way in Hong Kong now I have really and truly escaped CCP grasp. I don't know how to celebrate this power. Throwing open the windows and yelling "FREE TIBET" seems extreme. Anyway I'll do some more fun bullet points about HK/ Taipei. Want to see his cars? I dont like to read more than 23 words. JK but really i cant read that much.

Sonnet XXVII: You just got Scam'd... or not
http://anmeizhen.blogspot.com/2008/05/you-just-got-scamd-or-not.html
Monday, May 19, 2008. You just got Scam'd. or not. So Hong Kong is pricer than the Mainland and not only does it charge for the internet (GASP) it's money I would rather spend on delcious food in SOHO so I may be relatively out of touch but we'll see. I made my way to the Shanghai Theatre Academy to access their collection of videos where I saw a bust of Shakespeare prominently displayed outside (see I told you they liked Shakespeare here! Also I understood quite a bit of it so I feel exceedingly proud.

Walking into a Buzz Saw: The End
http://walkingintoabuzzsaw.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-end.html
Walking into a Buzz Saw. Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Technically, this blog was set to chronicle "the next three years as I attempt to get a J.D." Well, I got the J.D. in May and by that time I had learned that having the J.D. isn't really the end of law school. For that reason, I gave this blog an extension on life as I went through the bar examination process. With that in mind, as I was going through the bar review process I constantly compared myself to others who were preparing for the test. Anyway...

Walking into a Buzz Saw: December 2013
http://walkingintoabuzzsaw.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Walking into a Buzz Saw. Monday, December 2, 2013. Boston, Thanksgiving, JoshuAID II. Well, it has been an eventful couple of weeks. This post must begin with a debrief of the Boston trip that was much touted by Emily Goo- I mean me. In the morning Kels and I went into Boston to meet up with Brandon, Luke, and Mary for lunch near Harvard. I hadn't seen any of them in a long time, but they were my rocks of competence and authority during the run of Tragedy! In NYC. We reminisced, Kelsey interrupted me...
