Life as a single Mormon in SLC: the post-DC edition. August 24, 2015. The Weekend That Was All About Foodssss (and other things). This weekend was a LOT about food. And when I say a LOT, here's what I mean:. First, I channeled my inner urban hipster yuppie (is that even a thing? I'm really happy we still chat! Once I had my haul, I happily filled up my bike basket and rode home. Earlier this summer, I took Melanie to Rye. And I decided to use said pork belly in a lentil soup this weekend. ( And. Life as a single Mormon in SLC: the post-DC edition. February 11, 2015. That Time I Decided to Fly to Utah Spur of the Moment. Soooo two weeks ago, I went to LA for work. And I figured hey! I'm close to Utah! Why not go home? And not tell my mom I'm coming? She was so surprised! So I changed my return flight and went home! Naturally, most of my time was spent eating. I just so *happened* to be home on the last weekend of the world-renowned Sundance Film Festival. Was a Sundance venue! And we all LOVED it!

While we're on the topic of Mexican food, I just wanted to throw it out there for any of you entrepreneur types that the person who decides to open a good, authentic. Are you that person?

Bibimbap, Bulgogi, and Brad. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. I'm four months into a new job. I figured I'd give an update since I have. A lot of downtime for the next week or so. In a previous post. I figured I'd write about what my experience in public school has been like so far. In retrospect, these were very small issues. In fact, considering how I feel about this job, they now feel like non-issues. At my last job, I needed to be at school by 7:00am, and I'd teach straight through 11:00am. After that, I...

On Saturday, I went with a few friends to Bukhansan Park to go hiking. Guys, the park is so close, you can take the subway and then walk to the trail head. DC, take note. https://meehanguk.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

Bibimbap, Bulgogi, and Brad. Sunday, July 27, 2014. There's an area of Seoul called Hongdae. It's close to Hongik University and is reportedly a really cool neighborhood. I was in the area last Friday and decided to wander around while I had a spare hour or two. As I was walking, I heard a guitar playing. I listened to him play a song. Then I listened to another. Then another. This first one is "Big Blue Ocean," originally written by Japanese musician Kotaro Oshiro:. Thank you, Sunho Jung! What's up, doc?
