Barnabelle: Daughter of Encouragement: Ten Years In
http://corleycline.blogspot.com/2014/09/ten-years-in.html
Barnabelle: Daughter of Encouragement. In Titus 2:3-5, Paul exhorts the older women in the church to mentor the younger women for the sake of the gospel. I believe there's nothing more important than putting my arms around my sisters in Christ and urging them to continue fighting this good fight, because Jesus is worth it. I hope everyone who passes through here will leave feeling encouraged. Thursday, September 25, 2014. He was sure. And I was excited. But what I heard the Lord say to me that weekend wa...

Daniel and Janna Savage: April 2008
http://lifewithdanielandjanna.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Daniel and Janna Savage. Tuesday, April 8, 2008. There's Always a Silver Lining. Do you avoid the situation all together and act like nothing happened at all? Or do you face it head on and progress through the battles and eventually come out on top because you have something to look forward to because you know God is going to take complete care of you? Before I go any further, let's look at the Scripture:. Therefore, since we have been justified through. Through our Lord Jesus Christ,. Not only so,.

Vera's Random Thoughts: July 2010

Daily thought to make the stay on earth a little easier and maybe put a smile on your face. When things don't go the way we want. As a mother, mother-in-law and Nana I want things to. Run smoothly for all my family. I don't like to see ripples in the water. And for sure, I hate seeing the water white cap. Life is a little rocky for some of the younger Davis' right now and one of my little wise daughter-in-laws just really gave me a slap on the face last night. Ouch! So today I am learning a lesson from t...

The Bryants: April 2010
http://mikeandcymbre.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 29, 2010. No pictures today. Just a warning! I want to write about things going on in Ranston's world. He is a whopping 10 weeks old this week and man, how time flies! He does so many fun things. Like. When he lies on his back and kicks, one leg kicks twice as fast and strong as the other. When he sneezes, his arms and legs fly into the air. He grunts as he "gets after" his hand until he finds his thumb. He is so mellow the majority of the time and loves to stare. He is SUPER long. Mike i...

bramlett barometer: #899 - Love for Learning
http://bramlettbarometer.blogspot.com/2015/02/901-love-for-learning.html
899 - Love for Learning. It hasn't always been this way. The first day of school last August, he came home and said, "It wasn't what I expected. I don't think I'll go back tomorrow." Poor guy.he learned real quickly that's not how it works out in the real world. It took him about a month, or so, and he adjusted to his new normal and began enjoying life as a 5-day-a-week school attendee. Last week he came home with the biggest smile on his face. "Mom! I'm an AR reader! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Do you pray for your pastor and his family? I don't mean a prayer like, "Lord, please be with ." The truth is He's always with us. We don't need to ask Him to be there. I'm talking about a true warfare prayer, where you name family members by name and ask The Lord for specific things (protection, boldness, repentance, etc.). Back to my original question. Do you pray for your pastor and his family? Why do I ask? Because simply put, we need it! And y'all, The Lord in that moment said so clearly, "And am I ...

bramlett barometer: #898 - Date nights with them
http://bramlettbarometer.blogspot.com/2015/02/900-date-nights-with-them.html
898 - Date nights with them. Last night Daniel took Ella on a date, and thanks to our wonderful helper, Halie, I was able to take Riley on a date at the same time. Ella went with her daddy to our town's annual Father/Daughter Valentine dance. When I told her they were going she was SO excited! And off they went to dance the night away! Not much, I'm sure. How thankful I am for our loving and kind boy! Such a fun night celebrating our love for one another that's only possible because HE first loved us!

926 - The Word. My parents live on the fourth floor of a condo building. They have a back porch that faces some woods, and I have so enjoyed going out there in this AMAZING fall-like weather (is it really August? To spend time with the Lord. Today my eyes fell on this verse. And I am SO thankful! I'm halfway through the week, and loving all of the time with my precious nephews, yet also missing my sweet husband and beautiful babies. For this child I prayed." 1 Sam. 1:20. And then there's this firecracker!
