Boating on the river Loire. Amboise from the air. One evening last summer we went boating down the Loire. We started at Amboise below the chateau (pictured above as we started out) at around 20.00h. We were ferried down the river for about 10km, shared a picnic on-board and returned to Amboise at around 22.30. It was a pleasant July evening and the gentle slow-flowing river offered lots of opportunities to take photos. A Heron and a flock of geese: there is much wildlife on (and in) the Loire.

Archive for August, 2013. Exhibition – Noyers sur Cher, France. During August 2013 I shared an exhibition with Jérome Hebert a sculptor who lives locally. The exhibition space is a Romanesque church on the edge of Noyers sur Cher (Loire et Cher), France.
