Friday, November 30, 2012. We had a really BUSY month this November! We had a fun outside hiking adventure at Oak Mountain State Park while the trees were dressed in their beautiful fall colors. Saturday, March 16, 2013. Base Easter Egg Hunt. This weekend we went to the base Easter Egg Hunt. And we were happy to share it with Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Joe, who were visiting! The kids colored pictures and played games. Then they participated in the egg hunt, played at the park, had snacks and played in the bouncies. Allan and I did attend the 42 Wing Yearly Awards Banquet at the end of the month, where two nominees from Allan's Squadron won - woo hoo! Colin in the Shopping Cart. Colin Driving a Rocketship! Saturday, June 13, 2009. Yesterday we continued rug shopping. We found another rug that we both agreed on. It is less quality and a lot less cost. The Karastan rug we found a few weeks back is till our favorite, but this one was our second favorite and the cost was the deciding factor. Here it is hanging at the store. Sunday, August 24, 2008. Day 1: We arrived in Girona Spain around 10 PM and didn't get to Barcelona until after 11:30 PM. We found our hotel and checked in around midnight and then hit the Ramblas to find a place to eat. Since most people don't eat dinner until 9:30 PM and restaurants stay open until 1 or 2 AM finding a place to eat wasn't a problem. Placa de Catalunya, the central square dividing old and new Barcelona. From Placa de Catalunya we walked South down the Ramblas. Assorted cow parts (inside).

Sunday, May 31, 2009. We are planning on buying a new TV for the living room. Our old TV (aka Big Nasty) will soon be out on the curb. Brian is brainstorming how to convert one of the antique shrunks (aka wardrobe, armories) we bought in Belgium to hold the new TV. The shrunk is from the 1800's so we are having trouble figuring out the door situation. LOVE the new couch! It looks super comfy. We're in the market for new couches/loveseat too.
