IT'S THE STUFF I CARE ABOUT! Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Thursday, May 21, 2015. Dialysis (hemo) continues 3 times a week. I have lost 75 pounds - mostly fluid. This is a good thing. Peritoneal dialysis has proved to be NOT successful with me. So the peritoneal port in my abdomen is being removed. A fistula for hemodialysis is being placed in my left arm. This is a wonderful thing. The surgery will be June 11. Sunday, March 8, 2015. Kidney Disease is daunting, but it is NOT tragic. Saturday, October 25, 2014.
