Follow me as I go cross country while on sabbatical. Wednesday, April 30. Well, today I had planned to swing by Greenwich, CT to see a former teacher, and then continue on down to Mercersburg, PA to see a former student. However, about an hour after leaving Laconia, the rain started; and it did not stop, until much later! Not bad for leaving Laconia, NH around 7:30 am. Follow me as I go cross country while on sabbatical. Saturday, March 8. Hmmmit's snowing in Chattanoonga, TN! Friday, March 7. Well, that's about all the news. I've got a little more of the same tomorrow morning, before I pack up and start heading south towards Florida. Thursday, March 6. I finally reach Chattanooga around 5:00pm, and sign in to my hotel. Now all that's left to do is to take a nice long hot shower, unpack, and get some dinner. Here are a few pics from the day. Only about 34 degrees!

Follow me as I go cross country while on sabbatical. Thursday, April 24. Had a nice relaxing day today. Got up around 10:00 am, and Jordan and I went to go pick up his car from the North Campus area. Then we went and dropped off my bike at the local HD dealership to get a 2,500 mile service and oil change. Got onto the 101 and drove south to catch the “Avenue of the Giants”. This is an old section of highway 101 which goes through some amazing redwood groves. These trees are just amazing! Saturday, July 22, 2006. Rock The mounatins were long and covered in green forest but then dived steeply into Lake Superior and lined. Impressive red cliffs and an open panorama of the massive lake gave tried to convince me I was back on the coast. I stopped to relish in the view and snap photos often and soon it was time to camp. Again that day was in wonderful scenery but it was now cold, really cold and with a nasty headwind that tired me out as a I climbed over mountains and more mountains.
