The life and times of Steve, Amy, Natalie, Brooke, Mya, and Ryan. Sunday, September 07, 2014. My wonderful mother continues to get sicker and sicker. We are trying our best to prepare ourselves for when she leaves us, but I don’t know if you can ever really prepare for that. In the meantime, we are soaking up as much Mom/Grandma time as possible. We love her so very much! Here is an old picture (2 months ago? Of course, once we got her back to the couch to put her feet up, this is what they looked like.

Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Not Exactly a Green Thumb. The heat spell broke, and all seemed well . . . until this afternoon. We got a rainstorm, then the wind started picking up, then the hail came. When all was said and done, not much was left of my little garden. Actually, we got off pretty lucky.
