Rob and Anna's travel adventure

Rob and Anna's travel adventure. Wednesday, October 01, 2014. We had just completed our journey in the Philippines, and later on that day around 10 pm touched down in the new for us destination - South Korea. Prior to our arrival we heard contradictory things about traveling in this country, but "wait and see" approach always works the best - we wanted to explore South Korea with an open mind and make the conclusions based on our personal experiences. That did the trick! A few minutes later an older gent...

Rob and Anna's travel adventure: Southern Thailand

http://robandanna.blogspot.com/2014/08/southern-thailand.html

Rob and Anna's travel adventure. Friday, August 08, 2014. What a refreshing change after congested Penang! After a few days of R&R we were ready to make our way to the city of Trang. We took a simple government bus which looked beat-up on the outside, but came with a few super cute features on the inside: polished up (real) wooden floor, and glistening stainless steel ceiling (and, of course, local love songs on the TV screen). It felt like were were riding an antique bus! Posted by Rob and Anna @ 1:38 PM.

Rob and Anna's travel adventure: June 2006

http://robandanna.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html

Rob and Anna's travel adventure. Thursday, June 08, 2006. My View - Nuevo Laredo (Mexico) to Lincoln NE (USA) [Rob s entry (#9)]. Our return to NL marked the end of this journey, more or less. Beyond this was a Greyhound trip back to Nebraska to spend a couple of months preparing for our next adventure- cycling the summer in Northern Europe. NL is an unremarkable boarder city, and was our gateway to the Spanish-speaking regions we entered about five months ago. Lincoln, NE- at last. We hope to resume tra...

Rob and Anna's travel adventure: Mindoro, Philippines

http://robandanna.blogspot.com/2014/09/mindoro-philippines.html

Rob and Anna's travel adventure. Monday, September 01, 2014. Our flight from Kuala Lumpur to the Philippines landed in Manila around 10 pm, and we had the entire night to wait for our connecting flight to San Jose from where we would start our journey in Mindoro. Another country, another language, another set of rules. Calapan was simply a practical stop-over to load up on food supplies for our upcoming trip to the Tambaron Island. On the way to Calapan from Puerto Galera we shared a jeepney. With an int...

Living life and all it’s nuances has kept us from being able to keep up with this blog. But we haven’t forgotten and we’re so excited to get back to it. Lately things have been changing a lot for us. We’ve moved out of Charlotte and are now staying with a good friend in Memphis, TN. The good news is that we are planning to move to the Nashville area! February 4, 2014.

Catching up.as always! 4 kids had kept me BUSY! So I am blogging at 11 at night when I should be sleeping. Oh well. Anyways I will try to catch up on everything as of late. Here is my cutie pie elephant. Logan and Brooklyn were playing dress up and I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures! Brooklyn was being a cheerleader and not including Logan, so he went into the closet to pout! Cutest pout I have ever seen! Happy Birthday to my sweet Brooklyn! Decorating with Grandma's help. Blowing out the cake.

The Burns Family

Thursday, January 29, 2015. What a difference a week makes! Well, my life hasn't been the least bit boring. In fact, two of the most significant events in a family's life have happened in the past 5 days. Last Friday evening, Kelton proposed to Lauren! The proposal was magical and beautiful! My little girl is getting married! Here are a few of my favorite photos:. Five days later, Drew reported to the MTC! I was not prepared for the tears! I'll be updating Drew's blog as we receive letters and emails:.
