Rob and Anna's Blog: Christmas morning

http://www.robandannasblog.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-morning.html

Rob and Anna's Blog. Saturday, December 25, 2010. We gave the girls a trampoline. Inside the big box was a picture of the tramp. We will put it up this spring! The girls gave us a break this year and did not get up super early. It was tons of fun to watch their faces as they opened each gift and all the cute comments when they got it. The opening took a while, all they wanted to do was play in between. It was a great Christmas! Posted by Rob, Anna, Megan and Ashley. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Sungas: March 2010

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. The weather is much nicer now, and we're really enjoying being outside more! We got a backpack to carry Gabe around when we take trips or when he doesn't want to ride in the stroller. He seems to really like it, not that you can tell from this picture. It also has a kick-stand, and Gabe is content to sit in it while we do other things. That's always nice! Here Gabe is, pushing his truck around the cul-de-sac. I'm trying to keep it on the sidewalk! The Sungas: November 2011

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 27, 2011. It's been a great November. Here are some highlights. Gabe had fun trick-or-treating. We only went to a few houses. He was shy at first, but then he realized he got candy. Since we only went to houses of familiar people, most let him take a handful of whatever he wanted, and he definitely did that! After visiting those houses, we went back home, and Gabe helped Daddy hand out the candy at our house. He also helped pull the tape off the wall. He's a very good helper! After our f...

The Sungas: September 2010

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 1, 2010. The last few weekends in August have been full of fun things to do. We've had some really nice, sunny weekends that haven't been unbearably hot, and we've taken full advantage. Before we get to the fun stuff, I wanted to post some pictures of Gabe being Gabe. Also, we had his 18 month appointment today, and he is now 23.6 pounds (15th percentile), 32 inches tall (25th percentile), and his head is 48 cm (50th percentile). (Got that, Aunt Carrie? This past weekend, we met up w...

The Sungas: November 2010

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 29, 2010. When not working hard on finishing the basement, we've had some good times lately! I'll start with some pictures and videos of a lazy Sunday afternoon. Gabe wanted to help Daddy stay in shape. Here he is helping with exercises:. After exercises, it's time for a Sunday nap with Daddy. On Veteran's Day, we celebrated one of the last really sunny, warm days of the year by going to the zoo. Gabe may have had more fun on the playground than looking at the animals. One night my frien...

The Sungas: April 2010

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. More Spring fun and family gatherings. This post has lots of various happenings in it, but it'll give you a little peek into life with Gabe. First come some pictures of Gabe playing outside. He loves inspecting the deck for leaves and twigs. Whenever he finds some, he goes down to the bottom step and throws the debris under the deck. I have no idea where he got this trait! This is an action shot, toddling down the driveway. Here's the chair all put together and in use! Here are...

The Sungas: May 2011

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 30, 2011. Our first vacation of 2011 was a trip to Myrtle Beach. We drove down, and as you can see, Gabe was very excited! We ended up sleeping in and leaving around 10, so it wasn't too horrible. When we arrived at our condo, we discovered a stream ran along the rear of the building where a number of families of geese, ducks, turtles, and other water creatures lived. Gabe loved watching his "baby geeses! Most mornings, he would sit out there and watch them for as long as we would let him.

The Sungas: August 2010

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, August 24, 2010. I've been trying for weeks now to capture Gabe's new smile. It's been really tough! I finally got this one of him during dinner, so you'll have to overlook the applesauce and mac-n-cheese on his face. Don't worry Grandma - there are also green beans on that plate. He eats his veggies! Alicia, Marc, Gabe, Max, and Buster too. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Where did July go? What has happened to this summer? It has just sped by. We've been working on identifying body parts.) He was...

The Sungas: February 2012

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 1, 2012. You be the judge. Some people have asked if I'm bigger or smaller this time around. It's tough to tell. See the pictures below. Both are taken at 35 weeks. The purple shirt is me with Baby #2. The turquoise shirt is me with Gabe. The purple tank top is longer, so it's deceiving. Maybe I do look a little bigger this time. My weight is not different than what it was with Gabe. Alicia, Marc, Gabe, Max, and Buster too. Well, January just flew by! It was a fun month. My birthday w...

The Sungas: January 2011

http://thesungas.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 16, 2011. As most of you know, we've been working on finishing our basement for the last few months. It's not quite done, but mostly done, so I'm going to post pictures of the before and after. As you can see, some framing was in place. This is the far left corner, and you can see the bedroom and a living room window. The living room has a fireplace with windows on both sides. This picture was taken from the living room looking through the gaming area into the kitchen/bar space. We've don...

Rob and Anna's travel adventure

Rob and Anna's travel adventure. Wednesday, October 01, 2014. We had just completed our journey in the Philippines, and later on that day around 10 pm touched down in the new for us destination - South Korea. Prior to our arrival we heard contradictory things about traveling in this country, but "wait and see" approach always works the best - we wanted to explore South Korea with an open mind and make the conclusions based on our personal experiences. That did the trick! A few minutes later an older gent...

The Burns Family

Thursday, January 29, 2015. What a difference a week makes! Well, my life hasn't been the least bit boring. In fact, two of the most significant events in a family's life have happened in the past 5 days. Last Friday evening, Kelton proposed to Lauren! The proposal was magical and beautiful! My little girl is getting married! Here are a few of my favorite photos:. Five days later, Drew reported to the MTC! I was not prepared for the tears! I'll be updating Drew's blog as we receive letters and emails:.

Sunday, July 6, 2014. We loved spending time with our family and celebrating our little Liam. Amber knows how to throw a party! Snapping pictures of these sillies before heading in. Probably one of my most favorite things as a mom is witnessing the love my boys have for their cousins, it really is the sweetest. Kingston’s obsession with bunnies is getting a little crazy but it’s just so cute! Kingston asked me to come in his room and take pictures of him with his bunny friends. I can’t remember a y...
