In 2000, I began using bronze as a material of permanence for certain pieces that could go outside in the elements. Each piece was first constructed in wood, a mold was made and then the piece was cast in bronze. With a mold I am able to create an edition of each piece.

Mixed Materials, 1981-1998. I began to explore the use of different materials coming together in such a way as to help create a story or narrative. Metaphor became the foundation of the stories, in addition to a symbolic use of color.
