Sunday, January 26, 2014. SUNDAY FAMILY: January 26. Happy Sunday &, yup, that's right still on the bandwagon! Hope everyone had a lovely week! It's been a pretty darn good week- I've been on a bit of a "Spring Cleaning". Kick and have been de-junking/cleaning/organizing the house. Thank heavens the Carter Casa has been in need of a deep clean! And here are these sweet kiddos- Syd reading my all time favorite book as a kid (Box Car Children). Hope everyone has a great week next week! Ive missed your posts.

Sunday, February 12. These are the things i'm looking forward to doing:. Ama motorcycle races on ice. We went to the ice races on saturday, pretty crazy - the wheels are all studded, but they still get wiggling a lot on fast, tight curves - it was fun to be there, i just wish there were more racers and a better view * *. Frankfort lighthouse (this includes an hour coastal drive and the closest thai restaurant! Northport lighthouse, fishtown. And sleeping bear dunes (probably in spring). Back to the basics.

Wednesday, June 2. We have finally decided that it is time to settle down and start a family. We are taking small steps so this little puppy is the first addition. :). Her name is Chula and she was a shelter puppy. She's an american bulldog/boxer mix. She has tons of energy and gets lots of sleep. She can already sit, stay, lay down, shake and roll over. Friday, February 12, 2010. For Valentines Day: A Quick Version of Falling in Love. From a young age, I'd sworn off getting married. No one would gain my trust enough for me to give up my heart. But when I met Scott I instantly liked him. He had a 1969 VW Bug. Lived off a CostCo pack of Sour Skittles. And he had a confident infectious smile. I found out I had an Art History class with him. A class that he wasn't doing very well in. I called him to remind him to study for our test next week. Ahh, how fun!

Thursday, July 14. For the 4th oliver and i just relaxed. we went to a neighborhood cafe around lunch time. Last year my sunset magazine had this article. About camping in the desert near san diego and getting a tour of the night sky. 4th of july weekend seemed like a great idea (because of the 3 day weekend), but 117 degrees. well, that was pretty extreme. I would definitely do this again, but maybe in the spring or fall. the company was California Overland Tours. So there's this newish community called...

Sunday, September 12. More family room design. Things have progressed in the family room since we last checked in. finally chose a paint color and got new carpet! The base moulding is in the garage being painted right now and we are planning our built-ins.
