Darrington Diaries: Day 6 in China - Saturday August 8th
http://marcusandbritt.blogspot.com/2015/08/day-6-in-china-saturday-august-8th.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. Day 6 in China - Saturday August 8th. Yesterday afternoon we took the kids swimming to the pool in our complex. It was an enjoyable afternoon. And, so HOT. We ran into a branch member as we were walking home and she said it was in the 90's but real feel was 120. No wonder. We were able to open a Chinese bank account which will help us access our funds. A few things that I have noticed in the last 24 hours:. Last night we decided to order food and couldn't communicate our address w...

And our daily, weekly, monthly adventures.whenever we find time and have desire to blog. Tuesday, October 1, 2013. July 2009- Thoughts on Lasting Change and Feeling the Spirit. What if one is complacent in the way they are? What if a person recognizes the need to change an area of their life but doesn't have a strong desire to do so? What if they even know they should change and have a desire to, but don't take the next step? What keeps people from making that next step? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

One Reluctant Sherpa: On Reluctant Blogging
http://onesherpa.blogspot.com/2008/07/on-reluctant-blogging.html
Climbing from supine to stalwart. I guess. Janet Jackson and I have a ton in common. If you've met me, it's pretty obvious. Though ignominious, one such parallel is the reason for our weight gain. What can I say? Ok, so I'm not officially an "actor." You know how it is - no guild card. (Not even much calamitous intent. Then again, it's like the Chinese always say: "He who would array himself in a suit of fat is not beneath donning a beard of yak." So who knows, maybe it's prosthetic. 180 lbs by Dece...

One Reluctant Sherpa: On Favorite Songs
http://onesherpa.blogspot.com/2008/08/on-favorite-songs.html
Climbing from supine to stalwart. I guess. I think identifying favorite songs is less like a formula and more like a recipe. I guess some people's favorite songs could be more like a formula and less like a recipe, but there's a good chance I'd call those people's favorite songs, well, formulaic. . I also think there's a difference between favorite songs and favorite songs of all time. 1 part intellectually pleasing lyrics (add philosophy, cleverness, and/or symbolism to taste, sift for vulgarity).

My {extra}Ordinary Life: December 2014
http://andnat3.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Funny how life keeps going and we keep surviving what we feel is surely going to be the end of us." Me. Friday, December 26, 2014. I always say I'm not going to set any resolution-type goals, but, then I do. I said I wasn't going to, again, this coming year. But, seriously, within the same thought process, I set two. Ok, three. 1 No pop. All year. Achievable? 2 No candy. All. Year. Achievable? That's all. Three goals. Easy (ish) ones. Added, later * * *. Thursday, December 25, 2014. Nope Try and stop me.

My {extra}Ordinary Life: November 2014
http://andnat3.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Funny how life keeps going and we keep surviving what we feel is surely going to be the end of us." Me. Monday, November 24, 2014. It wasn't until my fourth (and final) baby, that I realized postpartum depression was going to be the norm with my pregnancies. I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. To say it was a small piece of Hell would probably be a bit of an understatement. I realized the baby monitor was turned off. To be in her house, in her skin. Because I've had a baby. I dreamed of the day I wou...

Darrington Diaries: July 2014
http://marcusandbritt.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 25, 2014. 24th of July 2014. We had such a great day! I don't think we took a single picture to document it. I was too busy enjoying it to stop and capture it. (Maybe Marcus did but I didn't - something I am sure I will regret in 20 years). We woke up early (so hard after a late night with Paige who was struggling for some unknown reason) and participated in the temple to temple 5K. It was so fun! In the evening we had dinner with Grandpa and Aunt Lindsey. Afterward the ward had the pion...

Darrington Diaries: September 2014
http://marcusandbritt.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 15, 2014. I have had the chance to coach three of Will ' soccer games this year. It has been fun. His team is really good. There are three kids that can really take control and score. I have always wanted to have plays that I could call and have the kids take to a formation. I was able to make it work with two plays. First one is Great Wall Of China. When ever you want them to make a defensive line I will call out ,"Great Wall Of China! Good tines. Good times. Friday, September 12, 2014.

My {extra}Ordinary Life: June 2014
http://andnat3.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Funny how life keeps going and we keep surviving what we feel is surely going to be the end of us." Me. Monday, June 2, 2014. Am I really here? For a week or so, I've been doing a LOT of eye-rolling. I mean, really. all the graduations are nauseating. Fast forward to tonight:. I'm sitting at my son's 6th grade "graduation". He didn't wear a lame paper tasseled hat. He didn't wear a mock gown or get handed a diploma. But they called it a graduation, nonetheless. They even had cake. So I say celebrate....
