Just another WordPress.com weblog. 22nd – 28th February. Another month over, time seems to be going so quickly. This week was half term so it was extra busy, not only were we both in school teaching the year 12/13’s there were extra things going on. On Monday the Orchestra moved from Jamestown Community Centre Band Room to a much larger room in Jamestown First School. Here we can leave out our chairs and music stands although the path is a little dark! Thursday I joined the girls at the coffee shop while...

Was housejobs, we defrosted the freezer, Maddy got a new computer desk and dressing gown. Saturday. Was Clare’s 40th at Jamestown Community Centre, plo and skittles a good time for all. Boat in the air.

The Clevely Chronicles: Nelson Camping 2014/2015
http://clevely.blogspot.com/2015/01/nelson-camping-20142015.html
Saturday, January 10, 2015. Bit of a tight fit getting everything into the back of the bus but Nick cleverly did it. We met up with Graham and Liz in Christchurch for breakfast, then travelled the rest of the way together, stopping several times along the way to explore and eat ice-creams.and lollies. Finally arrived in Nelson late afternoon and got busy setting up camp. It took more than the first day to really get the site properly decorated, but when it was done I loved our temporary home! We even had...

The Clevely Chronicles: January 2014
http://clevely.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 29, 2014. This summer has nearly passed us by - last year we were at the beach extensively; this year not so much. Thus it was, at the first possible opportunity, we assembled the Gregorys and a couple of beach chairs at Caroline Bay. The boys found a small hole and made it much bigger. While Graham found a grey hair attached to Liz. The end result of the hole - and two very happy boys! Nick and Lynn Clevely. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. The day had to come. Nick and Lynn Clevely. Up to ...

The Clevely Chronicles: April 2014

Monday, April 28, 2014. Behind a parka's scenes. Whose fabric and prices are good. This hooded coat fell into the latter category - a complicated array of sections took some serious thought during the cutting phase! I love getting enough bits sewn to be able to hang it on my sewing manequin, to get an idea of how it's going to look. And slowly the bed space clears, as more pieces get sewn together and the pattern pieces can be folded and stored. Nick and Lynn Clevely. Thursday, April 24, 2014. While part...

The Clevely Chronicles: August 2014
http://clevely.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 31, 2014. Nick and Lynn Clevely. Saturday, August 30, 2014. Timaru Christian School was invited to participate in a local Memory Walk to launch an Alzheimer's Awareness campaign. Students had to turn up in their school uniform, march up the main street of town holding helium balloons, then let them go after the speeches. The walk was well attended and heralded by the local Pipe Band - always treat. After the formalities we were entertained with a live little band and a sausage sizzle.

The Clevely Chronicles: God and the Earthquake
http://clevely.blogspot.com/p/god-and-earthquake_07.html
God and the Earthquake. C id=1&objectid=10709120); "Nature is no respecter of religion, but God is with us as we walk through the valleys of the shadow of death," (http:/ www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm? C id=1&objectid=10709143). So what was God’s part in the earthquake? Did He cause it, either directly by a miracle, through the agency of satan, or by overseeing the natural causes? Or did God look on helplessly, and was just another volunteer offering sympathy and presence after the earthquake?

The Clevely Chronicles: Sew sew
http://clevely.blogspot.com/2015/03/sew-sew.html
Saturday, March 28, 2015. Nick kindly photographed me as part of the entry requirements. I hadn't been too sure that the dress had been a success (you know how it is if you sew - it didn't turn out as I'd pictured in my head) but seeing the photos gave me a bit more confidence that it looked just fine. The jacket was the easy part - I had this piece of grey wool in my stash which I bought from an op-shop for about $5. I love how wool throws itself together! Nick and Lynn Clevely. The Clevely Chronicles: June 2014
http://clevely.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 28, 2014. Viv invited me to come along to Genevieve's birthday party to photograph it - no pressure, as Viv is a professional photographer. It's not always ideal to be behind the camera though at such an event - you really do want to look like you were present at key moments in your children's lives! Viv's creative genius at work - what a great cake! Hmm, Marc is ever the stirrer - this time with a knife. Graham thought the cake was pretty good too. Thanks for a great afternoon, Viv and co!

Just another WordPress.com weblog. I was asked to update the blog by my New Zealand Reader so here goes:. Much of the stuff we brought out with us has been sold on or just given away so the house sounds very hollow and looks quite bare now. We only seem to have DVD’s left to watch and I cant manage to do that all day (it is the school holiday here until Monday). More on our move back later and then I think a new blog on our time in Egypt. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. December 27th...
