New Jersey native, Roger Miller, holds geography and music degrees from Miami University (Ohio) and has studied oboe with Charles Lehrer, Louis Rosenblatt, Dennis Larson, and Marc Lifschey. In May 2011 he retired from the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra (English horn, 1st oboe, 2nd oboe) after 41 years of service.
