Lyme has given me superhero powers without the powers. I fear noone or anything. I sometimes feel like a superhero,push myself out of my comfort zone. So what if I feel pain, just do it! I walk as if I own the world. Scared of no situation life throws at me. Not afraid of anyone or anything. Made me tougher,stronger,wiser. Oh your stressed about a test?

I have been taking a taxi from port authority everyday to work since going back to work from maternity leave. Trying to take it easy on my body as I transcend back to the work commute. My journey through Lyme Disease- Healing my body and mind. I have been in treatment for 10 months and am slowly making awesome progress! The amount of exercise I am able to tolerate is slowly increasing. I can easily do moderate hikes now, can tolerate once a week kettlebell lifting, and about twice a month I can even go on easy, slow, and short bike rides! My symptom list has deminished to the following (all with less frequency as before):. Migrating joint, back, and muscle pain. Here’s to healing!

Monthy visits to an awesome doctor in Seattle, who trained in the northeast of the US learning the art of treating Lyme patients before starting her own practice in Washington. She has successfully treated thousands of patients from all parts of the country. A super concentrated Methylcobalamin (B-12) intramuscular injection first thing in the morning to get me functioning. Most importantly: a wiggly PUPPY!

Tips for living with lyme disease. March 21, 2014. I’m still trying to make my way into a full on workout but it just isn’t happening at the moment. What I have done is made stretching and yoga more of a daily commitment. I don’t stick to one type of yoga. The poses above are ones that I do normaly try to complete along with some other stretches I’ve done for years. I’m a huge fan of Pinterest. And it is a great resource to find poses and tips. Thats were I found this little routine. We are ready to go!
