Room 13's blog: Woven Koru
http://greenpark13.blogspot.com/2008/07/woven-koru.html
Room 13 kids hanging around on our big tree. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Miss Lind saw some cool Koru designs in the holidays and came back to show us. We thought that they looked pretty cool too so we decided to make them ourselves. We had to weave our backgrounds first and then had to draw a koru design that we could cut out of the black paper to put overtop of the weaving. Here are some for you to have a look at. http://greenpark13.blogspot.com/2008/11/picasso-portraits.html
Room 13 kids hanging around on our big tree. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. During Term 3 in the art suite we were creating our own Picasso inspired portraits. We had to learn how to mix prime colours to make other colours and we also learnt how to blend our paints properly on the paper. The portraits look really effective and are awesome hanging up on our wall in the class. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Who's looking at our blog?
