Room 7 Ohau School. Monday, 22 September 2014. Room 8 and 5’s Trip to Zealandia. Wellington turned on a sunny, but windy day for Room 8 and 5’s fabulous trip to Zealandia on Friday. The Zealandia Education Team, who are passionate about the flora and fauna at Zealandia, provided a wonderful experience for our students. One of the highlights would have to be everyone having the opportunity to pat a Tuatara! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Picture Window template. Powered by Blogger.

We believe that in the 21st Century students need to communicate in an additional language, develop their capacity to learn further languages and explore different world views in relation to their own. (The New Zealand Curriculum). How are we going to achieve this? Create supportive learning environments with task based activities. Provide students with a range of activities involving listening, speaking, viewing, presenting and performing. Te Kete Ipurangi (MOE).
