Room 4's Blog 2012. Wednesday, 23 May 2012. Different forms of transport! This term we are studying different forms of transport and how people and things get from 'here to there'. We are also looking at how different forms of transport change over time. The junior syndicate was very lucky yesterday to have the opportunity to look at two very old fashioned cars bought to Normandale School by Mr and Mrs Cameron. Room 4's Blog 2012. Wednesday, 12 December 2012. As part of our topic this term for technology, we are learning about milk and about how milk can be manipulated and changed into different substances. Last week Room 4 made butter. First we poured some cream into a jar. Then we added a pinch of salt. After that we closed the lid nice and tight and took turns shaking the jar. It took a little while however our cream started turning into butter! How did this happen? Let's have a look at the process.

Everyone cheered and clapped. We all ran our fastest. Next, the juniors had their own fun activities where they threw bean bags, jumped into hoops, over hurdles, and had fun races. Most of us went on a quad bike ride with Julie. There was a big log with water around it and we all played on it, we played ships. Scott (Zoe A’s dad) took a photo of us jumping off the log. My favourite thing was the quad bike ride with Julie. Camping at Himatangi Beach Holiday Park. Camping at Himatangi was, was Awesome!
