Room 3 Waikawa Bay School. Sunday, August 15, 2010. Come to a sprout party. Today in Room 3 we had a sprout party. First we washed our hands and then we looked carefully at the seeds we had sprouted. We saw that the seeds had started to grow and some had leaves growing from the seed. Next we made our sandwiches with bread, butter, luncheon and sprouts. Now it was time to eat our sandwiches. Here is a yummy sprout and luncheon sandwich. Emma loved eating her sprout sandwich. Room 3 Waikawa Bay School.

Room 5 Waikawa Bay School. Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Today we have made peacocks and we had to get 2 BIG pieces of paper and then we had to draw heaps of eyes with the fat crayons. We have also learnt about time in maths and we played a game and we had to call out the time on the cards. Also we have written reports about animals. In the reports we wrote where the animal lives and we had to draw a picture of the animal. We still have to do more on the report. By Anna, Donje, Hannah.

Room 3 Waikawa Bay School. Friday, March 19, 2010. The Brand New Chrysalis. On Wednesday Room 3 saw something very special. We noticed that one of the caterpillars was changing into a chrysalis. The caterpillar was changing into a green chrysalis very quickly, maybe just 5 minutes. Now the chrysalis is hanging on the wall and we are waiting to see what will happen next. We need to cross on the zebra crossing. We have to look both ways to make sure that it’s safe. We have to cross the road when there is no traffic coming. By Charlotte and Michael. Last Thursday evening we showed our mums and dads what we do in PMP. We do PMP on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday every week. We like to do news. We write stories. News is interesting and fun for us.
