Room 3 Waikawa Bay School. Sunday, August 15, 2010. Come to a sprout party. Today in Room 3 we had a sprout party. First we washed our hands and then we looked carefully at the seeds we had sprouted. We saw that the seeds had started to grow and some had leaves growing from the seed. Next we made our sandwiches with bread, butter, luncheon and sprouts. Now it was time to eat our sandwiches. Room 3 Waikawa Bay School. Friday, March 19, 2010. The Brand New Chrysalis. On Wednesday Room 3 saw something very special. We noticed that one of the caterpillars was changing into a chrysalis. The caterpillar was changing into a green chrysalis very quickly, maybe just 5 minutes. Now the chrysalis is hanging on the wall and we are waiting to see what will happen next. Thursday, 6 August 2015. Our Billy Goats and Bully Trolls Play. Such great acting children! Thursday, 23 July 2015. Exploring our worm farm. On Thursday afternoon we had a close-up look at what goes on in our worm farm. The children made sure that they had wet hands before picking up the worms. Dry hands can burn the worms.
