Miss Watts shoulder when she is reading a story. We called him Spike because he has spikes. On his back. The maori word 'tuatara' means. Peaks on the back'.

Room 5's Class Blog. Monday, 5 December 2016. Room 5 Cultural Celebration dinner. What a great night celebrating Room 5's cultural diversity with an evening of traditional and national dress, music, posters, language, cultural dishes of delicious food, playing tapau wai and sharing it all with our families . Thanks to everyone who could make it - we had over 70 people attend! Room 5 students, their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and siblings! Here are some pics . Room 5 students after the event.

We went to look at some cages. I saw some meerkats and they were very, very cute. Monkeys are very smart and very brainy.
