Tuesday, 18 November 2014. Last Friday Botany Downs held it's school carnival. I think it was a big success. Many ex students turned up and the community was out in force. I tended the Jolly Jar stand. Lots of goodies were available to buy inside these creative little jars. People loved rummaging through them and peeking inside. Towards the end of the chilly night the jars shrunk but people kept returning to see what was left. Loom bands, party poppers and lollies were a favourite. Superstars of Room 23!

Monday, 31 March 2014. My highlight on camp R.F. My highlight on camp was when I went kayaking. The funniest thing that happened to me was when I was going to go through a gap and my kayak got stuck between the gaps. Room 7 Brightwater 2015. Monday, August 10, 2015. How Clouds Hold Water. A clear jar with water in it. We put the shaving foam on top of the water in the jar and then we dropped the coloured water on top of the shaving cream. The coloured water slowly went through the 'cloud' and it rained! We found out that when the cloud gets too heavy and it can't hold the water anymore it rains. We also found out about the Water Cycle- Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation and then it rains! That our class ventured to the Maitai Caves,. We arrived at school at 8:15 am and had left by 8:30 am. It took around an hour to get to the track by car.
