Beth's Lower Jaw Surgery. Braced up since September 2011. I had a mandibular sagittal split osteotomy on the 29th November, 2013. Braces coming off on the 8th April 2014! Went and saw both my orthodontist and my surgeon last week. I saw the ortho first and he asked my how I felt about my teeth. It felt great, because the majority of my recovery has just been sitting around (I didn't feel like doing much because I thought it would be exhausting! Waiting lists, pre-assesment, recovering, healing yadayadayada). I've had my top brace on for 12 weeks (tightened twice) and my bottom brace on for 6 weeks (tightened once). 12 weeks of orthodontics. and LOOK :D:D:D.
