Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Well if you ever find yourself in the middle of sagebrush and grassland looking at Mt. St. Helen, Rainier,Hood, Jefferson and 8 other peaks, many of them well over 10,000 feet and covered in snow, then you're probably in eastern Oregon or Washington. You see so many mountains, you can't remember all their names. Proof that you're still in Washington. Beauty needs no name. Two of the Sisters as seen from Redmond. This question has popped up in a few conversations lately: What is your spirituality? It strikes me, because I used to work with a guy that would always ask people what their nationality was, when he clearly wanted to know their racial and ethnic category. It used to drive me bonkers. I wanted to explain it to him, but he was beyond help. Do I believe in a supreme being? Possibly....

Lady Lark : Art Showcase Blog. About Me : Contact. For the last year or so, I have been made aware of Colony Collapse Disorder. According to a recent Harvard Study. This disorder is caused by imidicloprid, and it causes colonies to collapse even at doses lower than that used in agriculture. Even more unsettling, when the substance is applied to seeds, it grows with the plant. Bees seek out the nectar and then take the laced nectar back to the hive. I mean, can you imagine a world without honeybees?

Random thoughts and rants of a woman who's tired of the same old scene. Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Out of loss comes growth. The loss of our child on September 11 (what's with that day? Was extremely painful in every sense of the word. This tragedy presented us a wonderful opportunity to start anew - reflect on our decisions, our wants, our dreams and set into motion the plans yet-to-be made.
