Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Messin' with your kids. Why am I just now learning how fun it is to mess with your kids? Marshall has started the questioning. He asks SO.MANY.QUESTIONS. I really don't mind the questions (most of the time). I know this is how he learns and it's good that he's inquisitive and interested in what's going on around him. But sometimes, just sometimes, I am all done with questions. Who did that to the tree? What happened to the tree? Why couldn't daddy get out? Daddy had to come home?

Tuesday, July 10, 2012. At the end of May we took Marshall on a special big brother vacation. Scott had some work to do in Myrtle Beach and we thought Marshall would enjoy both the beach/water park as well as some undivided attention from mom and dad. We saw a side of Marshall that we have never seen! He couldn't get enough of the beach despite some rain and cooler temps. He was fearless on the water slide. The water was frigid. Scott took over this activity because I don't do cold water so well.
