FLIDSTICK DIG: leaving
http://flidstickdig.blogspot.com/2011/09/leaving.html
Multicultural Chaos at the Birth Control Bed and Breakfast. Monday, September 5, 2011. I shouldn't be here right now. I have mounds of laundry to put away, dust bunnies to slaughter, and, oh that little packing thing I've been avoiding. I still can't believe that in just a few short weeks, I'm outta here. How do you wrap up 8 years of living in a place in such a short time? Get me on that boat, Captain. It's time to sail. Taking a boat to idaho, hmmmm? September 5, 2011 at 11:38 PM. Luna the Love Dog.

FLIDSTICK DIG: February 2011
http://flidstickdig.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Multicultural Chaos at the Birth Control Bed and Breakfast. Sunday, February 27, 2011. I spin around and around and around. I need to lay down. I want to jump and fly and soar. I must lay down. Sunday, February 20, 2011. The Attics of My Mind. As I head downstairs, I hear Typhon howling and for some reason, the chords of Canon in D. Friday, February 11, 2011. I thought it was just a stage, we'd be fine. Once I got my head above water with the four kids, we'd breathe again. I knew that we'd had ba...Grant...

FLIDSTICK DIG: August 2011
http://flidstickdig.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Multicultural Chaos at the Birth Control Bed and Breakfast. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Step One: Make More Coffee. Our coffee machine broke a couple of weeks ago and with the pending possibility of upping sticks, we bought a cheap and cheerful replacement at Carrefour. On the positive side of things, since we don't own a microwave chez nous. That's what's for dinner! My cup is empty. But overflowing. Friday, August 26, 2011. Fasten Your Seat Belts. Wow Whoa. OH MY GOD! I have no idea where to begin with...

FLIDSTICK DIG: April 2011
http://flidstickdig.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Multicultural Chaos at the Birth Control Bed and Breakfast. Friday, April 29, 2011. A Few Thoughts That Stuck. Yes, I watched it. I hadn't really planned on doing that, but something about the uniforms, the horses, or the young happy faces of William and Harry just got me. I got sucked in and carried away with all that joy that a wedding brings. The optimism. The beauty. The hope. The fairy tale and its iced cake. And then I listened to The Bishop:. As the reality of God has faded from so many lives in t...

Friday, July 31, 2015. I'm back: Graduation, Running and More. Hi, it really is me writing and I am back…I can’t believe it has been 4 weeks, yikes! I have started but then had to change my focus before I could finish writing. So what’s been happening this month? Well summed up in a few words: Running, School- à. So here is a short summary and many pictures of July. After being cleared to start continuous running I stuck with my plan for the half on July 4. O ran he 1. Beat by the teams of all men. Sunda...

A Tenuous Grasp: The Yellow Balloon
http://atenuousgrasp.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-yellow-balloon.html
Barely hanging on by the skin of my teeth. Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Way back in August 2012, one of our neighbors hosted their annual "End of Summer/Back to School" picnic. It's a great event, with everyone in the court bringing food and drink to share and all the kids playing together while the grown-ups hang out and chat. There were bunches of streamers and balloons tied to the canopy that someone had set up to cover the food tables, adding to the party-like atmosphere. It seems the balloon floated...

Marathon Mom: I'm not a walker!
http://runnershoe.blogspot.com/2015/06/im-not-walker.html
Friday, June 26, 2015. I'm not a walker! I’m not a walker, at least not today! There is nothing wrong with walking, I mean I love it! Taking O or Cooper out on a nice day or walking to grab a few things from the store. I love it when that is my intention. But as a rehabbing runner being called a walker sucks! Don’t get me wrong this is huge but I’m ready for more. I head back on Wednesday for a re-evaluation and further clearance. I think I’m still bitter over the previous week when I was once agai...

A Tenuous Grasp: April 2011
http://atenuousgrasp.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Barely hanging on by the skin of my teeth. Friday, April 15, 2011. A Mother's Prayer for her Daughter. This has been floating around the Internet and attributed to Tina Fey. I can neither confirm nor disprove that, and it sounds like her voice, so I'll go with that. It made me laugh out loud, nod my head in agreement, and even tear up a bit. Enjoy! May neither Chinese symbol for truth nor Winnie-the-Pooh holding the FSU logo stain her tender haunches. 8221; “ Tower of Torture. What would that be, Lord?

A Tenuous Grasp: March 2009
http://atenuousgrasp.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Barely hanging on by the skin of my teeth. Saturday, March 7, 2009. I was in negotiated rulemaking up at the Department for the past two weeks. When I was getting ready to go home Thursday evening, I pulled off my heels and slipped on my Metro shoes - canvas Vans slip-ons, black with white skulls. One of the other women there said "Intersting shoes." I told her my son picked them out for me. Yeah, a 2 year old boy and an almost-6-month-old girl.". What the hell does THAT mean? I can't wear cool shoes?
