Runner Brewer's Brewery: First Belgian Tripel

http://runnerbrewer.blogspot.com/2007/11/first-belgian-tripel.html

View my complete profile. Runner Brewer's Running Blog. Finally brewed the Tripel. Friday, November 2, 2007. It's about time I finally made one. My friend Jeremy and I are going to crank this sucker out on Monday night. Seeing that it is 10 gallons at an OG target of 1.090, I need to make a HUGE starter this weekend. Will probably use WL500 Trappists ale yeast. The recipe is coming together to look like. 5% Caramunic (not sure about this one). Time to do the math. November 7, 2007 at 11:03 AM.

Runner Brewer's Brewery: Fat Tire Clone

http://runnerbrewer.blogspot.com/2007/10/fat-tire-clone.html

View my complete profile. Runner Brewer's Running Blog. Saturday, October 20, 2007. Mr top 25 cigars. And I brewer a Fat Tire Clone yesterday. We hit the Original Gravity perfectly at 1.052. Since I was able to get a 72% mash efficiency, the larger batch (11 gallons) came out correct. The SRM and IBU might be off, but we are not entering in a brew competition with this one. We enjoyed cigars, Bell's. Two Hearted Ale, and my Bourbon Barrel Porter. All essential ingredients for distance runners. I will mos...

View my complete profile. Runner Brewer's Running Blog. Finally brewed the Tripel. Sunday, November 18, 2007. Finally brewed the Tripel. Used Northern Brewer hops to get an IBU of 30 (the store was bare bones on hops). Trappist Ale yeast WL 500 (over a gallon starter). We did a 6 gallon batch last night, and it took way to long. Starting gravity = 1.087. Pictures to come soon. Friday, November 2, 2007. The recipe is coming together to look like. 5% Caramunic (not sure about this one). Time to do the math.

http://therunningthistle.blogspot.com/2009/09/got-to-have-faith.html

A journal of running and more. Sunday, September 13, 2009. Got to have faith. The wheels feel off last week. Just under two weeks ago I tweaked my knee doing a hill workout. I wasn't able to run much, only a few short runs on the track and I missed my 20 miler for my peak week. I did do a lot of mountain. Labels: Twin Cities Marathon. September 6, 2013 at 7:58 PM. The Running Thistle: April 2009

http://therunningthistle.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

A journal of running and more. Sunday, April 12, 2009. I ended up putting in some good miles this week on top of a killer work schedule where I didn't get home much earlier then 7pm each night and 11pm on Thursday. It was a good week, I sold some houses, but I don't like that schedule at the expense of my family. Hopefully it will be more balanced from here out. 4/6 2mi treadmill 530am. 4/7 3mi treadmill 530am. 4/8 85 7:45 pace 930am. 4/9 5 8:12 pace 900am. 4/11 9.5 7:38 pace 11 am. Total 32.5 miles.
