Going Boldly: July 2015
http://swannerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. We surprised Mitchell with the circus today. We quietly bought tickets awhile ago. We did not plan on closing on our house the same day as the circus. We thought "surely we will be moved in and settled." Haha! We set the closing for this afternoon and kept our morning date for the circus. I still vaguely remember a trip I took to the circus as a little girl and think kids should go to at least one circus. Haha! And have for a long time!

Going Boldly: November 2014

Sunday, November 30, 2014. Saturday, November 29, 2014. McKinney's Home for the Holidays. We came home Friday morning and guess who came up to the area Friday afternoon? I told Mitchell I will take him somewhere to skate before Christmas. Mitchell met the Grinch and was quite happy about that, but maybe more happy about the candy cane he gave him. Have you ever wondered why kids don't lick or suck on things? They just bite down full force on hard candy and popsicles. Lawsynn was a little trooper. Restaur...

Going Boldly: October 2014

Friday, October 31, 2014. Arrrg-uably Our Best Halloween Ever. See what I did there? Just a little pirate humor. I see so many eye rolls in my future from these two kids. Our Halloween was just so much fun! Mitchell was in costume all day. He had his fall party and carnival at school today. He got to do "so much Halloween-y stuff" and brought home a good amount of treats. Lawsynn went the kitty cat route for early in the day. She celebrated with milk and naps. My Little Jake and Tinkerbell. Wednesday, Oc...

Going Boldly: February 2015
http://swannerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. We have experienced some crazy winter weather around here. First ice, now snow. It is not impossible for us to get some winter weather anytime from December to March or April, but it can be rare. And it seems like a late start. Winter is fighting to stay relative. It started to snow after Mitchell went to school and continued until after I picked him up. It was Lawsynn's first snow! How highly appropriate I had this order finished today! Who knows, Elsa and Anna may be next!

Are you being serious right now?: Books.
http://seriouslydude-noway.blogspot.com/2015/08/books.html
Are you being serious right now? Wednesday, August 12, 2015. I showed Emerson how to make little mini books with index cards and a stapler.and we both really wished we had a long arm stapler so we could make bigger books. I ended up finding one on Amazon for $10.so I bought it. Emerson checked the mail for it everyday and was so excited when it finally arrived. We've been making a lot of books lately and have even made a batch to give to a friend. Best purchase ever. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
