Sunday, September 28, 2014. Being 6 Is Awesome! Ellis came running down stairs this morning and said, "now I'm totally six! He was born on a Sunday and his birthday was on a Sunday this year. He had requested monkey bread for breakfast. Derek, the kids and his parents went to church and I stayed home to get ready for the party. This year his party was of course a lego theme! I have been painting lego boxes for the past month. Thanks to all the people who collected bottle caps for me! This is only the 2nd.

Thursday, July 30, 2015. Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. We surprised Mitchell with the circus today. We quietly bought tickets awhile ago. We did not plan on closing on our house the same day as the circus. We thought "surely we will be moved in and settled." Haha! Friday, February 27, 2015. We have experienced some crazy winter weather around here. First ice, now snow. It is not impossible for us to get some winter weather anytime from December to March or April, but it can be rare. And it seems like a late start. Winter is fighting to stay relative.
