Monday, June 29, 2015. Ellis is really loving karate. At the end of each class they play some kind of game. Today they played simon says. Ellis was the last kid standing. He was so proud! Me too. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Derek was home Tuesday so we were able to get everything unpacked, cleaned and put away, even the car got all cleaned out again. We were back to the pool on Wednesday. Friday, July 31, 2015. Jackie hadn't met Minnie yet so we headed to her house. Jackie was so cute about being at Minnie's house. When it was our turn to meet Minnie Jackie hopped to her. We have had such lovely spring weather, but I know the Texas heat is just around the corner. Thank goodness for splash pads, pools and water parks. We're going to need it to continue on our goal! April 27 - We are meeting friends at the splash pad and park this morning. It's a gorgeous day! April 25 - We tried a new park with lots of shade. I made an obstacle course for Linoln to race in.

Sunday, September 28, 2014. Being 6 Is Awesome! Ellis came running down stairs this morning and said, "now I'm totally six! He was born on a Sunday and his birthday was on a Sunday this year. He had requested monkey bread for breakfast. Derek, the kids and his parents went to church and I stayed home to get ready for the party. This year his party was of course a lego theme! I have been painting lego boxes for the past month. Thanks to all the people who collected bottle caps for me! This is only the 2nd.

Friday, October 31, 2014. A Wonderful Colorful Halloween. Halloween this year was a very fun, full day! First, I was the mystery reader in Ellis class. Parents get to come and read to the kids, but you don't tell your child you are coming. Ellis was so surprised and so proud. He loved getting to stop after a lap for a drink at the water station.
