Monday, May 29, 2006. Holy crap, guys, I'm done! I'm so happy with the way my Forecast turned out. The fit is snug (but I like it that way), the buttons I picked turned out great and the yarn got nice and soft after I washed it. I'll definitely be wearing this once fall comes back around (but not before then - I broke a sweat today just wearing it for the pictures! More pictures at my blog. And my Flickr photostream. Monday, February 27, 2006. Dashing all the way. My mom is going to knit Forecast, too. She ordered 5 skeins of Cascade 220 in sage. I told her to post some pics on here when she knits a bit. I'm here and my Forecast is finished and beautiful however I had to special order my buttons (I had my heart set on something very specific) and they still haven't arrived! Thursday, June 29, 2006. Finally, I've gotten my act together sufficiently to take some photos of my finished Forecast. She's been done for almost 2 months now! Here she is, in her ublocked state:. I am inordinately proud of the buttons we found - quite a good match colour-wise, which is a challenge when you live in a place where handcrafts are a dying art. Since I cant get a nice photo of the front of my Forecast, here's the back. I enjoyed this pattern a lot, but particularly enjoyed the KAL aspect....
