Run Bunny: January 2011
http://oh-bunny.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Running and coping with life and happiness. Monday, January 31, 2011. Get off yer asses! I saw the most amazing thing during my run the other morning. It was the beginning of a beautiful day, and there were a lot of other people out running and biking. Two of those people happened to pass me. They were not moving very fast, so they were in my field of view for about 15 minutes. During that time she never pedaled. Really I was sad because she was probably just lazy. What’s up with that, girls? I’m f...

Run Bunny: January 2012
http://oh-bunny.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Running and coping with life and happiness. Monday, January 23, 2012. Running to Stand Still. I want to write this post, but I don't know where to begin. I guess we start with the elephant and let the holes fill themselves in. My mother-in-law has ALS. She has been in my life 16 years, and I love her like blood. She lives in NY, I live in MN, we don't see each other very often these days. I watch myself run with her eyes. And I remember not to take these days for granted. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Running with the Tiny Dangerous One! Running, Personal Training and Nutritional Coaching: A blog about embracing the journey! Friday, January 9, 2015. Getting Back on Track. It gets old and here is why: we can either choose to work to the best of our ability and leave everything in the gym or we can simply show up and phone our work out in. Remember, in order to have a lifetime of w...

http://runningjacksons.blogspot.com/2014/11/damn-body-image-issues.html
Running with the Tiny Dangerous One! Running, Personal Training and Nutritional Coaching: A blog about embracing the journey! Thursday, November 20, 2014. Damn Body Image Issues. But this isn’t about MY BDD – it’s about the body image issues so many of us have. You don’t have to have full blown BDD to have insecurities about your nakedness. You don’t have to have BDD in order to find fault with your body. You just have to have eyes and be human. I am convinced that there are even Victoria Secret Models (...

Run Bunny: Marathon Mania
http://oh-bunny.blogspot.com/2012/02/marathon-mania.html
Running and coping with life and happiness. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Ah, a long-overdue update for you! So I spent three weeks in NY immersed in family stuff, and during that time I did a little re-evaluating. My relationship, my job, my family, my aspirations. And then I registered for another marathon. Because what I came to realize is that. Life is for living. That thought had never occurred to me before. I could run the Boston Marathon? I could even qualify for the Boston Marathon? Right But the...

Just because it is Christmas time doesn’t mean you have to gain the 5 – 10 pounds all the “studies” say you will gain this season. There are lots of ways to not just be a statistic. Running with the Tiny Dangerous One! Running, Personal Training and Nutritional Coaching: A blog about embracing the journey! Thursday, April 7, 2011. She had a trainer (duh) and worked out 6 days a week for 6 hours a day. Now, none of us have that kind of time so let’s be a bit more realistic. For her upper body specifically, one should train 4 times per week. On Mondays and Thursdays - train chest, shoulders, triceps:. Dumbbell bench press 4 sets of 8 to 12 reps. Inclined flies 4 sets of 8 to 12 reps.
