After a couple of failed attempts to get hold of a GPS watch, I finally got the Garmin Forerunner 201 on Craigslist. I don't think anything can beat the FR201 for $25! Lets see how it works out. No more hoping that the LYR app would not conk out. No more hoping that the battery does not give up on me. No more craning the neck to see how I am making out on the timing. A diary of my running endeavors. Thursday, September 9, 2010. A careful 5Miler [09/08/2010]. Been wary since Sunday's long run where the ITB. Started acting up. Or so I thought. Been icing the left ITB atleast twice a day since then. Did not run Tuesday's run. Am getting pretty paranoid and been doing the stretches and strengthening exercises that Madhura's suggested. Surprisingly, the leg did not act up at all. In fact, I felt great! Did a beautiful negative split. Felt awesome! Ended up doing 2 laps!

We had a sumptuous Thai dinner with Jyothi and Lata the night before and a good night's rest. It was an interrupted sleep, but, all in all, quite restful.
