Marathon training: Another 6 miles

http://www.runninginedinburgh.blogspot.com/2007/05/another-6-miles_16.html

This is a blog recording my training toward running a marathon following two years of injury. Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Tonight was another run along the canal, this time all at a fairly easy, but not leisurely, pace. Not much to report on this run, other than a little niggle with my right hip. Hopefully nothing to worry about. Another 4.5 miles on Friday will give me 30 for the week, which is my target goal. Posted by edinburghrunner at 9:56 pm. Links to this post:. Marathon training: Start of a new week

http://www.runninginedinburgh.blogspot.com/2007/05/start-of-new-week.html

This is a blog recording my training toward running a marathon following two years of injury. Saturday, May 05, 2007. Start of a new week. Distance: 5.5 miles. My cold has now cleared and I went out into the blazing sun for a run this morning. I kept it very easy in the heat and felt a little tired at the end. A combination of the heat and the after effects of my cold I think. I'm going to post my plans for the season shortly. Posted by edinburghrunner at 10:19 pm. Links to this post:. 4 miles, again.

This is a blog recording my training toward running a marathon following two years of injury. Saturday, March 24, 2007. Friday: 6 miles with watch, at 8:15 average per mile. If I claim 3 miles for my 90 minutes football on Saturday, my total for the week was 21 miles. More of the same next week, but probably aiming to creep up to the mid-20s. Marathon training: Marathon - 3:54:03

http://www.runninginedinburgh.blogspot.com/2006/10/marathon-35403.html

This is a blog recording my training toward running a marathon following two years of injury. Monday, October 02, 2006. Marathon photos to follow if any are available. Couple of great runs to mention. Mike. With an 8 mile PB, and Andrew. With a simply fantastic and thoroughly deserved 2:57:08. Posted by edinburghrunner at 10:48 pm. A PB is a PB just like you say! Congratulations on a steady paced race. When the wheels are still on at 20 miles life is good. Keep up the improvements! Links to this post:.

Rouge Runner: A Run With Roux

http://rougerunner.blogspot.com/2007/05/run-with-roux.html

Somewhat daily entries of my running travels around the great city of Baton Rouge. Friday, May 11, 2007. A Run With Roux. I forgot to bring my Nike receiver so I don't know how long or how far I went, but I think it was somewhere around 2.5 miles in about 30 minutes. I can feel the subtle change in my body as it is getting used to my running again. Pretty soon I'll be entering some 5K races. Hope the job hunting goes ok. May 12, 2007 at 9:35 AM. http://rougerunner.blogspot.com/2007/05/last-day-of-student-teaching.html

Somewhat daily entries of my running travels around the great city of Baton Rouge. Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Last Day of Student Teaching. Today was the last day I had to be at school, and my kids all wrote little notes for me as a kind of going away present. I was so happy, and I had a great time reading what the kids had to say (for example: "I love the way you always dress nice") LOL I love it! I will miss those little boogers. Yea for little kids that show appreciation. May 13, 2007 at 8:53 PM.

Somewhat daily entries of my running travels around the great city of Baton Rouge. Tuesday, December 26, 2006. Christmas down.bring on the New Year! I've found some more songs to download:. Tool's "The Pot" is a great angry song to run to. Counting Crow's "Mr. Jones" is an oldy but goody. Alanis Morissette's "Right Through You". Saturday, December 23, 2006. Somewhat daily entries of my running travels around the great city of Baton Rouge. Friday, March 23, 2007. I had a blast last night. My parents' anniversary was yesterday, so we had a party at the house with crawfish and beer. Unfortunately I drank too much beer and didn't eat enough crawfish. Needless to say I didn't get to run at all yesterday, and I am in recovery mode today. I hope I'll feel better by this afternoon or tonight. Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Somewhat daily entries of my running travels around the great city of Baton Rouge. Sunday, February 25, 2007. Mardi Gras Marathon 5K. I know it has been a while- two weeks I think- but i'm. Still trying to get in the groove of teaching. Every morning I wake up with every intention of running in the afternoon, but between being exhausted and having random meetings, I just can't find the time. What a lame excuse! However, I did get my tired, lazy butt up this morning to run the Mardi. And a little bit of g...

Running in Ethiopia

Yoga Journal Pose of the Day. Sunday, October 18, 2009. Labels: faces of Ethiopia. This little guy with the big voice has big ambitions for his country. His message is that hard work is the only solution to get out of poverty, encouraging his people use their God given natural beauty and resources which have been neglected for centuries, to change the face of their beloved motherland. I don't understand all the words, but the music grabs at my heart, and I can't help listening to this over and over again.

A YEAR OF FIRSTS.. | AN INSPIRATIONAL JOURNEY OF CHANGE… ONE MILE AT A TIME!

A YEAR OF FIRSTS. AN INSPIRATIONAL JOURNEY OF CHANGE… ONE MILE AT A TIME! Posted by triandrun in Uncategorized. This weekend will mark my 42nd race of the year. As I enter the home stretch of this year of firsts, the only regret I have found is that I didn’t do it 10 years ago! I am looking forward to the future challenges, the new experiences, my growth as an athlete, and the great people I meet every week. Train, Race, Repeat. Posted by triandrun in Uncategorized. A casual 40 mile ride? A long slow run?
